Documentation

A real docs surface for the parts people actually need.

This is the operational reference for creating organizations, inviting members, managing roles, running events, and keeping club knowledge in one place.

Getting Started

Create or join an organization

Set up a workspace, share a join code, and get members into the right club fast.

  • Create a workspace from the onboarding flow.
  • Share the six-character join code from invite controls.
  • Members can paste the code into Join Organization to enter the workspace.
Members

Manage roles and member access

Use club settings and member management to keep permissions aligned with actual responsibility.

  • Assign members to real roles instead of relying on fallback labels.
  • Use the roles editor to grant scoped permissions.
  • Admins can regenerate join codes when a code has been shared too broadly.
Events

Run events and check-ins

Create events, publish QR codes, and track attendance without spreadsheet cleanup after the fact.

  • Event dates are stored in normalized UTC format for consistent scheduling.
  • The scanner route records idempotent attendance for valid check-ins.
  • Use the activity feed to review recent event creation and attendance activity.
Recruitment

Build recruiting workflows

Create public forms, collect candidates, and move applicants through the pipeline inside one workspace.

  • Recruitment forms support required fields and file uploads.
  • Candidates can be added manually or from the public application page.
  • Use candidate statuses to keep the pipeline readable for the full team.
Memory

Store institutional memory

Keep files and folders attached to the club instead of scattering them across personal drives.

  • Files track uploader ownership for safer cleanup.
  • Folders give events and teams dedicated storage surfaces.
  • Use search and metadata instead of rebuilding context every semester.
Account

Control your personal defaults

Profile and preference settings now persist per user instead of living as placeholder UI.

  • Save your display name, initials, bio, timezone, and language preference.
  • Manage email and digest preferences from account settings.
  • Choose whether Univio should remember your last workspace on this device.
